A Birthday Celebration Sampler featuring fragrant lavender flowers. This sampler is embroidered using DMC stranded cotton thread on Platinum coloured fabric which gives it an authentic appearance.
 
This design could also be adapted to celebrate other birthdays, such as 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th or 70th using the alphabet chart included.
 
The design contains whole cross stitches throughout. Backstitching is also used to emphasise the outline of the larger flowers and to add the smaller text.
