‘Countdown to Christmas’ cross stitch advent sampler.
( Or you could call it ‘counting up to Christmas’ ) .
 
This has been designed as an advent cross stitch project with the idea being that you prepare the 'shell' first, ready to stitch each motif every day, for the 24 days leading up to Christmas day. You'll fill the shell with fun seasonal motifs until it is all complete on Christmas Eve.
Alternatively, you are welcome to stitch the design as one complete sampler and not follow the 'advent' experience. The choice is yours!
 
These are cute, small little motifs which won’t take long to stitch, thus keeping the project a fun stitch to do in the busy days ahead when you need an hour to yourself to relax.
The largest motif area to fill measures 29 stitches wide x 16 stitches high, this would be the motif you’d stitch for window number 1, which is not very big at all.
If you’d like to stitch the greeting on the bottom in Welsh, ‘Nadolig Llawen’ is also included with the pattern.
I have finished my sampler as a hanging and instructions are supplied if you do prefer that option.

This includes the materials required to make into a hanging as well as the full colour printed pattern booklet, Zweigart 14 count Biscuit aida fabric, DMC threads loaded on a thread card and needle.
The 'Hanging Kit' materials are a piece of iron-on interfacing, contrasting fabric for the reverse, a piece of dowelling and a length of ribbon.
